Martin Keane - 10 Oakley Park, Tullow Road, Carlow Town, Carlow - Thursday 14th November 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Martin Keane of 10 Oakley Park, Tullow Road, Carlow and formerly of Zimbabwe.

Martin passing away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny on November 14th 2024.

Beloved husband of the late Deirdre, much loved father of M.J, Róisín, and Natasha and adored grandfather of Mason.

He will be sadly missed by his loving children, grandchild, daughter-in-law Michaela, brother Sean, sister Hilda, brother-in-law Paul, sister-in-law Marian, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Most sincere condolences to the Keane family - I hope Martin's passing was peaceful.
I wonderful pal, a great work colleague, very generous with his time and always willing to help others.
Rest in peace Martin, we will miss you."

Another reads:

"Our sincere condolences to Ró, MJ, Tasha and dear Martin's extended family. We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing.
He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May he rest now in peace with your dear Mam.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time "

Funeral arrangements 

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, (Eircode R93 C863) on Friday, November 15th, from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal from there on Saturday at 9.45am, to The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, arriving for Funeral at 10am. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Family flowers only and donations, if desired, to Feileacan - Stillbirth Neonatal Death Support. Anyone wishing to leave a message of sympathy to the family may do so by using the condolence link below.
