'Such a warm and happy person' Tributes paid following the passing of Carlow woman

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Kay Joyce of Corries, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow.

Kay Joyce passed away peacefully at her home, on Friday, 20th December 2024, surrounded by her loving and devoted partner Des and daughters Deborah & Fiona.

She will be greatly missed by Nigel and his partner Sabrina, her friend Carmel, her brothers and sisters and the wider Joyce and Geoghegan families, friends and neighbours.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"So sorry to hear of the passing of Kathleen. Such a warm and happy person. Sincere condolences to all her family. May Kathleen's gentle soul rest in peace."

Another reads:

"Sincere and deepest sympathy to Kathleen’s family brothers sisters and extended family on her sad passing god grant her eternal peace in her heavenly home with her parents"

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at her residence (Eircode: R21 W958) on Sunday, 22nd December, from 3pm until 7pm, with funeral prayers at 6pm. Removal from her residence on Monday, 23rd December, to arrive at St. Laserian’s Church, Ballinkillen, for Funeral Mass at 11am. A Cremation Service for Kay will take place on Tuesday, 24th December at 1pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium. The Cremation Service can be viewed live here.
