Elizabeth Black neé Lawlor - Village View, Fenagh, Co. Carlow - Wednesday 1st January 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Elizabeth Black neé Lawlor of Village View, Fenagh, Co. Carlow.

Elizabeth passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on January 1st 2025.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Eric, parents William and Margaret, sisters Essie,Mary & Kitty, brothers Ted, Sean & Tom.

Elizabeth, much loved mother of Elizabeth, Frances, Tony, Patricia, Eric, Phyllis & Shanice.

Deeply regretted by her heartbroken sons, daughters, sons-in-law Steve, Louis, Johnny, Padraig & Mikey, daughters-in-law Jean & Rachel, grandchildren Chrissy, Bethany, Erika, Dean, Andrew, Joshua, Eva, Tristan, Anthony, Charles, Candice, Skye, Chloe, Alfie, Owen, Theo, Tyler, Charlie, Levi, Kerrie & Jack, great-grandchild Skyla, brother Billy, sisters Bernie & Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours & her many friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"My heart felt condolences to u all on the sad passing of your mother...Liz was a lovley lady with a beautiful way about her...We made many memories over the years...may u rest easy Liz you've earned your place in heaven."

Another reads: 

"Condolences to Elizabeth Frances Tony Patricia Eric Phyllis and Shanice and extended black family on the loss of your poor mam thinking of ye all at this difficult time may your mam rest in peace"

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at her home on Thursday from 3pm, concluding at 8pm on Friday.

Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am in Saint Patrick's Church, Newtown,

followed by private cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin.
