RIP: Tributes paid to Carlow woman who was a 'true inspiration' following her passing

Bridget Dalton (née Doyle) - Goolin, Borris, Carlow - Monday 17th February 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Bridget Dalton of Goolin, Borris, Carlow.

Bridget passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in St Luke's Hospital Kilkenny on Monday 17th February.

Sadly missed by her husband Jim,sons Michael and Francis, daughter Triona, adored grandchildren Emma, Aoife, James and Tom, Son in law and Daughters in law Paul, Kathleen and Francesca, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Sincere condolences to Jim and family on the passing of Bridget. She was a true inspiration to everyone and an amazing lady. Rest in Peace"

Another reads:

"My sincere condolences to Jim, Michael, Francis & Triona and all Bridget's extended family. May Bridget rest in the peace and light of heaven. I will remember you all in my prayers and pray for Bridget at mass."

Funeral arrangements

Reposing at Breens Funeral Home, Borris, (R95Y6N9) from 5pm today (Tuesday the 18th) untill 8pm. Wednesday the 19th from 2pm with removal at 7pm to St Molling's Church, Glynn (R95HY49) for 7.30pm. Requiem Mass at 11am Thursday, followed by burial in Ballymurphy Cemetery, (R95HR28).
