Sheila Donohoe (nee Murphy) - Lacken Road, Old Leighlin, County Carlow - Sunday 20th April 2025
Tributes have been paid following the passing of Sheila Donohoe (nee Murphy) of Lacken Road, Old Leighlin, Carlow and formerly of Main Street, Gowran, County Kilkenny.
Sheila passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday 20th April 2025 in the care of Saint Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy (Patrick). Much loved mother of Therese, John, Frances, Kieran, Patrick, Morgan and Lena. Sheila is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, daughter-in-law Pilar, grandchildren Sheila, Vicente, Eilis, Kilian and Tadhg, sisters Mary Lorna, Bridget and Carmel and brothers Michael and Francis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Bridget, and her brothers Martin and Patsy (Patrick).
Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Sincere condolences to the Donohoe family on the passing of your mum Sheila, a great friend & neighbour to us growing up & a lovely lady, may she rest in peace"
Another reads:

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in Joyce’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Borris, County Carlow R95 DV76 on Wednesday 23 rd April 2025 from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on arrival at 11.00 am on Thursday morning at Church of the Assumption, Gowran, County Kilkenny with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
