Sharon Maguire (née Eyre) - Carlow - Tuesday 13th May 2025
Tributes have been paid following the passing of Sharon Maguire (née Eyre) of Oakview, Athy Rd and formerly of Old Dublin Road, Carlow.
Sharon passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on May 13th 2025, at her home.

Beloved and treasured mother of John and Jessica, adored daughter of Anna and the late Mickey and cherished sister of Majella, Martina, J.J and Mary.
She will be sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, mother, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law Eddie and Foz, sister-in-law Michelle, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"Condolences to Sharon’s son and daughter and her extended family on the sad passing of Sharon
She was a wonderful person and it’s been our privilege to have known her
She was a truly special person
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time
May you rest in peace Sharon with the Angels"
Another reads:
"Our deepest condolences to the Maguire and Eyre family on the sad passing of Sharon.
May she rest in peace."
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (Eircode R93 C863) on Thursday (May 15th) from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10am in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow followed by burial afterwards in Sleaty New Cemetery.
