RIP: Tributes paid to Carlow man who was one of the 'Kindest and most helpful'

Michael (Mick) Breslin - Ardattin/Clonegal, Carlow - 2nd July 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of PMichael (Mick) Breslin of Ardattin, Carlow and formerly Clonegal, Carlow.

Mick passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny surrounded by his loving family on the 2nd of July 2025

Sadly missed by his Brothers Jim ,Tom, Pat, Richard , Dan, Jack and Peter, sister's in law Charlotte, May and Trish, niece's, nephews,relatives & Friends. Predeceased by his Parents Richard and Catherine, sisters Lilly and Catherine.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Am very sad to hear of Michelins passing. He was one of the kindest and most helpful people we met on our arrival in Ardattin and remaimed so ever since. God rest you Michelin and condolences to all his family."

Another reads: 

"Condolences to Peter and all the Breslin family on the sad passing of Mick. May his gentle soul rest in peace. You are all in our thoughts."

Funeral Arrangements 

Mick will be reposing at McCrea's Funeral Home, Carnew (Y14EK24) this Friday afternoon 4th July from 3.00pm to 8.00pm.

Removal Saturday morning to St. Brigid's Church, Clonegal, arriving for funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by internment at adjoining Cemetery.
