Free parking arrangements at Carlow car park extended until October

The free parking arrangements at Plás na Saoirse has been extended until close of business on Saturday, October 20.

According to Cllr John Cassin, this date will be kept under review.

He added: "As previously stated an objective of this proposal is to attract motorists to park in Plás na Saoirse (Hadden's) Car-Park which is the main car-park serving this area.

"For clarity, it is now proposed to allow free parking every day from 9.30am to 12noon and from 3.00pm to 6.30pm in Plás na Saoirse (Hadden's) Car-Park for the period September 3 to October 20 inclusive.

"Parking between 12noon and 3.00pm will be at the normal rate. All other parking arrangements to remain as they are."
