Goals in either half from man of the match Kevin Murphy, who finished with a 2-6 haul, gave Rathvilly the upper hand after ending stalemate the previous weekend. Palantine failed to turn the game on its head after Murphy's second goal as their wide tally grew, leaving Murphy to notch the final two insurance points and seal a memorable win for Rathvilly.
