County Carlow Chamber has encourage the people of Carlow to "vote Carlow" in the upcoming general election.

Carlow Chamber has told the people of Carlow that securing a second TD for the County Carlow can shape future of the county.

"The people of Carlow have a very real opportunity to shape the future of our county by securing a second TD for Carlow." Explains Michael Quinn, President of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce. "But this can only happen if we all support our local candidates. Carlow is growing, developing and improving. It is important that we keep this forward momentum going – so that it is a great place to live, work and do business. Securing a second Carlow-based TD would give us a stronger voice at national level and ensure that the needs of the people of Carlow are heard."

In the Carlow/Kilkenny constituency there are currently 5 Carlow based candidates on the ballot paper.

In past general elections Carlow has struggled to secure a second seat in the 5 seat Carlow/Kilkenny constituency, with 4 seats going the way of the Kilkenny candidates.
