LATEST NEWS: Candidate within touching distance following 9th of Carlow/Kilkenny General Election

The ninth count has been completed here in Kilkenny for the Carlow/Kilkenny Constituency for the General Election 2024.

No candidate has reached the quota,  Gary O'Neil had the lowest votes and he has been eliminated in the ninth count and his votes will be redistributed.

The ninth count takes us ever closer to our first elected candidate with John McGuiness in touching distance, needing just 564 votes to reach the quota.
