Weather today (January 10) will be wet and windy with outbreaks of rain, according to Met Éireann.
Rain - which will clear into the Irish Sea by evening - will be heavy in places with the potential for spot flooding.
Highest temperatures will be between 10 to 13 degrees.
Tonight will be cold and blustery with clear spells and scattered showers, most frequent over the western half of the country with the chance of isolated thunderstorms and hail.
Lowest temperatures of between 1 to 5 degrees in fresh to strong west to southwest winds can be expected.
