Gardaí are appealing for information following a break in at St John's Church, Clonmore in recent weeks.

Two panels of glass were removed from a window to gain entry to the church sometime between Christmas Eve and Saturday, January 14th.

A sum of cash had been taken from the safe. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to
contact Hacketstown Garda Station.

Gardaí in Tulllow recently launched an investigating following a break in at Kildavin Church during which a small number of items were taken.

In this incident, a Tabernacle containing ciborium, a vessel used to hold Communion, and altar wine were taken.
