It it so be mostly cloudy this morning with some mist and fog patches and just occasionally bright spells, with some bright or sunny spells possibly on the way.
Patchy light rain and drizzle will continue to move southeastwards over Ireland. Bright or sunny spells will follow over Connacht and Ulster by noon, along with a few light showers, and will extend further south and east through the afternoon.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes.
It will be a cool enough day in Carlow, the highest temperature throughout the day will be 8C from 1 to 3pm.
Tonight will be mainly dry with a mix of cloud and clear spells along with some patches of mist or fog. Cloud will increase in the west and north overnight with patchy drizzle developing on coasts.
Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees with a touch of frost in places with light to moderate southwest breezes.
