"A good deal of dry weather" is expected today (February 2) with some patchy drizzle at times.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts some patchy drizzle at times with bright spells and highs of 10 or 11 degrees.
Drizzle will turn more persistent in the northwest this evening.
Tonight, scattered outbreaks of light rain and drizzle will affect the north and west under mostly cloudy skies with long dry spells elsewhere.
Lowest temperatures will be between 7 to 9 degrees, perhaps a few degrees cooler locally in the south where skies are clearer.
Mostly moderate west to southwest winds.
