The entire Oak Park Forest Park amenity area in Carlow is to close for a number of days, from this Friday.

However, the park will temporarily re-open for the weekend on Saturday, February 18th and Sunday 19th as normal.

A notice of the temporary closure of the entire area has been posted by Carlow County Council.

The gates will remain closed to all members of the public - for both vehicular and pedestrian for safety reasons on the closure days.
