Weather will be mostly dry today (February 23) with good spells of sunshine, especially across the east and south of the country.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts cloudy skies during the day with a chance of showers.
Highest afternoon temperatures will be between 6 and 9 degrees.
Tonight will be largely dry but with a good deal of cloud and perhaps a few patches of light rain or drizzle.
Lowest temperatures of between 1 and 5 degrees with a touch of frost possible in the south where skies will be clearest early in the night.
