Rain can be expected in Carlow this morning (March 15).
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts heavy rain for the rest of the day with spot flooding in places.
Temperatures will be between 2 to 5 degrees in the north and 7 to 11 degrees elsewhere with fresh, gusty winds.
Tonight will be wet with heavy falls of rain and some spot flooding.
It will be breezy and relatively mild with lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees.
