Today (March 24) will be windy with sunshine and showers, many of them heavy and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts fresh to strong, gusty west to southwest winds strongest in the west with gales on coasts.
Some coastal flooding possible around high tides with highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees.
Strong westerly winds will gradually ease tonight, while showers will become less frequent with long clear spells developing overnight.
Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees.
