Sunny spells and scattered showers can be expected today (March 30).
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts thick cloud and a chance of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Rain will develop in the southwest from mid-afternoon with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.
Remaining showers in the north will clear early tonight and outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the south will spread to all areas overnight.
Winds will be mainly light to moderate easterly or variable with minimum temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees
