A number of houses in Carlow are due to be without a water supply later tonight.
Due to mainenance works, the water serving Potato Market and Kennedy Avenue, Carlow may need to be turned off between the hours of 10pm and 2am later tonight, April 27th through to the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Mains repair works may also cause intermittent supply disruptions to Pollerton Road, O'Brien Road and surrounding areas in Co. Carlow.
Works are scheduled to take place from 7pm until 10pm on 27 April.
A notice from Carlow County Council confirmed the potential outages.
Uisce Éireann advised: "We recommend that you allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return".
