Outbreaks of rain and drizzle are expected today (May 10).
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts brighter weather this afternoon with more frequent showers, some heavy and possibly thundery.
Higher temperatures will be between 11 to 15 degrees.
Tonight will be quite cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain, most frequent in the northwest at first but extending southeastwards across the country overnight.
Some showers will be heavy with lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds, fresher near Atlantic coasts.
