Gardai say a learner driver was filming while going through a multi agency checkpoint in Laois.
The unaccompanied learner who didn’t have L-plates on their car was caught near Mountrath.
“Laois Roads Policing this morning conducted a multi agency checkpoint near Mountrath with the RSA (Road Safety Authority) and Health and Safety Authority.
"One driver was observed driving through the checkpoint while recording on their phone,” Gardai said.
“The vehicle was stopped and the driver was discovered to be a Learner Permit holder who was driving while unaccompanied and without L-Plates displayed.
"Their vehicle was seized,” Gardai added.
