Carlow's Leila Colfer has been selected to represent Team Ireland at the EYOF
Carlow's Leila Colfer has been selected to represent Team Ireland at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF).
Leila, who trains with St Laurence O'Toole AC has achieved selection for the 100m individual and mixed relay at the EYOF.
The club have said "Well done Leila on a fantastic achievement".
The competition will take place from 23rd - 29th July in Maribor, Slovenia.
Over 3,600 teenage athletes from 48 European countries will compete at the highest level in the ten sports on the programme this summer as the EYOF celebrates it's 17th year.
