Ben Dunne Gym in Portlaoise
A woman who is accused of assault in a gym in Portlaoise was further charged with theft.
Amy Williamson, 42, with an address at 14 The Green, Chaplestown Gate, Tullow Road, Carlow is charged with assault causing harm at Ben Dunne Gym, Lismard Business Park, Portlaoise on November 14 last year. The defendant was further charged with theft at Ben Dunne Gym in Portlaoise on the same date at a sitting of Portlaoise District Court.
Solicitor Michael Byrne said the defendant had asked that he come off record and Solicitor Josephine Fitzpatrick was assigned legal aid in the case.
Judge Andrew Cody remanded the defendant on continuing bail until September 28.
