'She was an inspiration', Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan pays tribute to Sinéad O'Connor

Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan made an appearance at the launch of the new Carlow Town Bus Service earlier today.

When asked about the recent news of the death of Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor, he said 'In the 80s, the whole city of Dublin were talking about her with a sense of pride and that's still the case today.  She was fearless, outspoken, an incredible advocate and such an inspiration to many.'

Ryan is one of many who have paid tribute to the late Sinéad O'Connor since her death was announced last night.
