Main Street will close for the annual Borris Fair event in County Carlow
Borris Main Street (R-702) will be closed off from 7am to 6pm on Tuesday 15th August.
There will be detours in place with access to Main Street limited to pedestrians, residents and emergency services only.
This is due to the annual Borris Fair which takes places every year on 15th August (the feast of the Assumption) taking over the Main Street in Borris.
Hundreds of buyers, sellers and spectators will descend on the village of Borris for the day.
It is believed this long-standing event dates back over 400 years.
The Borris Fair takes place tomorrow.

The Main Street, R-702 will be closed between 07.00am & 18.00pm on 15 AUG.
Access will be maintained at all times for Residents & Emergency Services.
