Kildare were crowned TG4 ladies football Intermediate champions on Sunday 13th August at the Championship Final match against Clare at Croke Park in Dublin.

Kildare won by 2-11 to 2-10.

The Kildare ladies team won every trophy available to them in 2023.

They earned a Division 3 title, Leinster Intermediate Championship and the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship.

Neasa Dooley, SETU Carlow student, was amongst the scorers on the day.

Speaking to Carlow Live, Neasa spoke on her win "We accomplished the Treble and not many teams can say that in a year. The hard work throughout the year is shown with those three pieces of silverware".

Neasa studied Sports Rehabilitation and Athletics Therapy at SETU Carlow and is set to graduate this Autumn.

We at Carlow Live wish her the best of luck in the future.
