WHAT'S ON: Free event on the history of the Carlow County Ambulance Service

As part of National Heritage Week 2023, Paul Curran, sub-officer with blue light emergency service, Carlow Fire & Rescue Service, and Secretary of the Carlow Historical & Archaeological Society will host a talk on the history of the Carlow County Ambulance Service.

The ambulance service in Carlow dates back to the mid-19th century. Join the team in the Seven Oaks Hotel tonight, Wednesday 16th August, from 8pm to 9pm to learn more about the history of the Carlow Ambulance Service.

The event is free and all are welcome to attend. There will be stories from over the years and photographs on display.
