Gardaí investigating burglary where home was ransacked in County Carlow
Gardaí are investigating a house burglary which occurred in Bahana, Saint Mullins, Carlow.
The burglary occurred sometime between 8.30am and 8pm on Monday 21st August when the house was unoccupied.
After an unsuccessful attempt to enter via the rear door of the house, the perpetrator gained entry to the property by forcing the front door open.
The injured party returned home after being away for the day and found the front door of their home to be unlocked.
Upon entry to house they found that the bedroom was ransacked.
Two gold rings were stolen during the course of the burglary.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area on the above date that noticed any suspicious activity and/or vehicles or anyone with information in regard to this incident to Contact Gardaí at Graiguenamanagh Garda Station on 059 9724222.
