Carlow Road Cycling Club (CRCC) saw huge success at the Youth Nationals 2023.
The event took place over two separate weekends.
The 2023 Youth Road National Championships took place on Saturday 2nd September in Killea, Co. Derry.
The 2023 Youth Criterium National Championships took place on Saturday 9th September in Corkagh Park, Dublin.
Carlow was represented well at both events with local athletes bringing home Youth National titles.
The following athletes received medals:
Ashton Foley Doran Under 11 Time Trial & Criterium Champion
Naoise Byrne Under 13 Road Race Champion & a Bronze medal in the Criterium
Jack Woods Under 15 Road Race Champion
There were additional Carlow athletes who were very close to the podium: Noah Byrne, Niall Mc Donald, Aaron Foley Doran, Evan Byrne & Jamie Byrne.
