Hosts of British TV show 'This Morning' discuss SETU Carlow's new 'influencing' degree
South East Technological University (SETU) Carlow have announced the introduction of Ireland's very first ‘influencer’ degree which will be open for applications in November.
Since the announcement, many have spoken on the introduction of this Bachelor of Arts degree in Content Creation and Social Media.
The hosts of British daytime TV programme 'This Morning' were joined by Nick Ferrari to discuss.

While 'lots of people are saying it's a mickey mouse degree'
'From my perspective, I think this is a really fascinating and interesting opportunity for the young people that want to go and do it'
Co-host Holly Willoughby agreed with Ben's views.
Since 2019 the influencer sector has doubled in value globally and is worth an estimate of between €14bn €16bn worldwide.
Nicolo Ferrari stated that 'a lot of young people who are going to University don't earn anything like that kind of money'
'It's a lot of money and relatively new industry which I can see there's merit in.'
