Gardaí are investigating two separate cases relating to burglary in Tullow

Gardaí are investigating two separate cases relating to burglary in Tullow, County Carlow.

The first incident occurred on Friday 22d September between the hours of 6.45pm and 8.30pm. The perpetrator gained entry to a residential property at Killerig, Tullow by forcing the rear window up with a screwdriver. The house was ransacked, while cash and jewellery were stolen.

The second incident involves an attempted break-in to the Parkville Utd Football Club at Hawkins Lane, Tullow. This incident occurred between 8pm on Friday 22d September and 9am on Saturday 23rd September. A container door was partially forced open. Fortunately, no entry gained. However, there is a substantial repair cost for the door of container

Gardaí in Tullow are appealing for any witnesses to suspicious activity relating to either crime or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the areas to contact them on 059 9151222.
