In Pictures: Minister for Heritage visits four local biodiversity projects in Carlow

TD for Carlow-Kilkenny and Minister for Heritage, Malcolm Noonan, visits four innovative local biodiversity projects in Carlow funded under the Local Biodiversity Action Fund 2023.

These projects include:

  • An edible pollinator garden at St Patrick’s College in Carlow Town
  • A River Barrow restoration project at Powerstown Stream in County Carlow
  • A ‘Hare’s Corner’ at Old Leighlin – the first time this model has been administered by a local authority
  • An outdoor biodiversity classroom in Bagenalstown
