In Pictures: Coffee Morning in Carlow Garda Station to support Positive Ageing Week 2023

Carlow Gardaí hosted a coffee morning at Carlow Garda Station on Tuesday 3rd October in support of Positive Ageing Week 2023.

Those in attendance were welcomed by Superintendent Farrell and were also given a tour of the inner workings of the station. Guest speakers at the event included Martha Jane Duggan from the Carlow Age Friendly Alliance, Faith Amond, new Age Friendly Ambassador, Deputy Jennifer Murnane O' Connor and Joe Butler, Chairperson of the Carlow Older Person Forum.

Music was provided on the day by Tina Kavanagh from Borris who kept the crowd entertained.

At the event, Carlow Gardaí also officially unveiled their newly installed Age Friendly Parking Bay at the front of Carlow Garda Station.
