Bag of Rooster potatoes amongst items stolen from house across the Carlow border
A homeowner in Clogh Village, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny returned to their home on Sunday 12th November to discover a burglary had taken place at their property.
The incident may have happen sometime between 9am Wednesday 8th November and 6.30pm Sunday 12th November.
The victim returned home to discover the glass in a back bedroom window had been smashed to gain entry to the house.
The house was ransacked and amongst the items stolen were: old Irish coins (nominal value), four sensor lights and a bag of Rooster potatoes.
Gardaí in Castlecomer are investigating this particular incident and are appealing to anybody who may have seen anything of a suspicious nature in Clogh Village over the period to contact them on 056 444122.
