Three Carlow clubs receive over €113k funding

A new grant funding of €113,279 has been issued to support three projects in Carlow.

The funding is being provided as part of the CLÁR (Ceantair Laga Árd-Riachtanais) programme funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development.

The funding will go towards improvement works to parking and access at Old Leighlin GAA club, repair resurfacing and weatherproofing of Garryhill handball alley and an all-weather pitch for Ballymurphy National School.

This funding forms part of the Government’s new five year policy for rural Ireland - Our Rural Future.
