St Leo's College located on Dublin Road, Carlow Town, have submitted a planning application to local authorities.
The application details the erection of twelve LED lighting poles (approximately 15m in height and a max.500 lux output) so as to provide lighting to the hockey pitch and all associated site development works.
The site is located within the curtilage of a protected structure St Leo’s Convent of Mercy (RPS No. CT3).
The application was lodged by Saint Leo's College.
The application was submitted on 18th December and is still at pre-validation stage, meaning no expected date for a decision is available yet.
