Carlow Tourism to take center stage at Holiday World Show 2024 in Dublin
Carlow Tourism will have a strong presence at this year’s Holiday World Show which takes place from Friday 26th January to Sunday 28th January at the RDS in Dublin.
The Holiday World Show is one of the most important travel consumer fairs in Ireland which is held annually in January.
The fair had almost 40,000 visitors in attendance last year.
Carlow will be targeting domestic visitors who are researching and also booking holiday breaks in Ireland.
Holiday World has a consistent strong presence from the domestic tourism industry as well as many European destinations and those further afield including China, India, America, Canada, West Indies and South Africa.
Chairman of Carlow Tourism Michael Walsh commented 'Close proximity to Dublin, coupled with an increasing desire to escape from the stresses of modern living makes Carlow a very attractive option for visitors to Holiday World. Many of the county’s tourism experiences will be promoted at the fair including the wide variety of walking routes to be enjoyed in the county, the Carlow Garden Trail with a specific focus on Snowdrop Month which happens each February, accomodation packages and outdoor recreation opportunities. With assistance from our funding partners Carlow County Council, the Board of Carlow Tourism is pleased to be well represented at this important consumer fair.'
Visitors to the show will find The Carlow Tourism stand located at T4 in the main hall in the RDS, located on Simmonscourt Road.
