Man accused of trespassing on Kildare property of retired GAA athlete

The accusation was heard at Naas District Court last week

A County Carlow man allegedly trespassed on the County Kildare home of a well-known former GAA star.

That’s according to gardaí who were present at Naas District Court on Thursday, January 18 last.

Judge Desmond Zaidan was told that one Christopher Keogh, with an address given as 11 Father Cullen Terrace in Carlow, trespassed on the property of retired Gaelic footballer Bernard Brogan (Senior) in Athy on April 13 last.

The 37-year-old also faces a separate allegation relating to the theft of €25 worth of diesel in County Kildare on an unspecified date.

Judge Zaidan accepted jurisdiction over the two cases and adjourned both of them to May 16 for hearing.
