Haymarket in Carlow has now been reopened following an accident involving multiple cars.
It's believed a car, which seemed to lose control, crashed into a pole just outside the town hall, it then swerved and crashed into an oncoming car and then swerved again and crashed into a parked car.
The damaged cars have been cleared from the road by a tow truck.
Emergency services are still at the scene as the driver of the car is being assessed by paramedics, however, it's believed their injuries are not life-threatening.
