Reddy's of Carlow which has been running for over 250 years, has announced it will close its doors at the end of next month.
The Bar and Restaurant made the announcement on Facebook yesterday saying the decision has been made "with great sadness."
Reddy's will open for the final time on November 30th and between now and then, people are encouraged to go in and share their favourite memories of the pub.
"We would like to take this time to thank each and every customer that stepped through our threshold in the many decades we have been open," the post read.

Many people jumped to the comment section to share their sadness and fond memories, with one person cheekily requesting the recipe for the garlic potatoes.
Reddy's opened in 1768, making it the oldest pub in Carlow.
When it originally opened, it operated as an inn before going on to become a malting house, a potato house, stables, and then as an undertaking business in the 1930’s.
The pub is currently owned by the third generation of Reddy's who all hope to offer customers a "warm welcome and a home away from home" when they arrive.
