Carlow musicians to take part in fundraising busk at Fairgreen Shopping Centre
Musicians from across Carlow will come together this weekend to raise funds for St Clare's Hospitality Kitchen by taking part in a Christmas busking session.
It will take place on Saturday, December 20 in Fairgreen Shopping Centre.
Musicians, singers, and performers will serenade shoppers as they put on a show in front of the Christmas tree, according to the Carlow Nationalist.
The busking session follows the success of last year's event and will get underway at 2pm.
Asophonics, Dara & The Patsys, Maryann, Gala Hutton, Becca Mitchell, Just Alice, and Jim Siney will all be in attendance on the day.

The Hospitality Kitchen gives out free meals to those who need that extra bit of help.
The idea of doing a busking session to raise money for the charity came from Emmet Jones, who is known for pioneering music from Carlow.
Earlier this year, Emmet and his partner Shannon Doogue set up the Carlow Music Playlist on Spotify.
They gathered music from new and established local bands so that it is easily accessible for anyone who wants to listen to it.
