More healthcare options for Carlow as newwalk-in clinic officially opens in town
People living in Carlow now have another option for healthcare as the new Doctor365 clinic in the town has officially been opened.
The walk-in medical centre is located at Exchequer House, Potato Market, Carlow.
It was officially opened by Cathaoirleach Ken Murnane and Mayor Paul Doogue, according to a Facebook post in the group 'All About Carlow.'
"We are very grateful for this welcome that the Carlow community is giving us," Dr Mohammed Omar said.
The benefit of a Doctor365 clinic is that patients do not have to wait for an appointment and can "pop in when they need to see a doctor."

It works by patients arriving and filling out a new registration form.
The receptionist will then organise for a doctor to see the patient, with a standard consultation costing €50.
Doctor365 is a private service that is not linked to the HSE, meaning GP visit and medical cards are not accepted.
The Carlow clinic will be open seven days a week for walk-in consultations between 10am and 7pm and for phone/video consultations between 10am and 10pm.
Medical professionals at the clinic can provide prescriptions for medication, conduct screenings, and offer preventive healthcare, among other things.
