Huge congratulations to Kady Shaw on her impressive boxing win in Galway over the weekend last.
Carlow Institute paid homage to the talented Kady who is doing a gym based fitness instructor course and competing in boxing matches for Ireland.
Her match in Galway marks her first fight back after a few weeks out due to injury.
"What a comeback it was!" Carlow Institute said on social media. "Kady, who already holds five title belts, is widely regarded as one of the top female kickboxers in the country right now".
Representing Ireland on the international stage, competing in fight nights and exhibitions, including a standout exhibition in Dundee, Scotland (2025) and the WKA International Open
Kady is now gearing up for the Irish Open Championships this April.
"She may come across as quietly confident with her warm smile, but once she steps into the ring, she is an absolute force, definitely a name to remember! Everyone at Carlow Institute wishes her continued success in her sporting career," Carlow Institute said.
