Nurney text alert group being set up
A Community Text Alert registration meeting will take place in Our Lady's National School, Nurney on September 12 at 7.30pm.
One of the organisers, Gary Phelan, said leaflets will also be handed out to houses in the area in the next week or so.
The challenge now is getting people to sign-up to the alerts.
Text alert signs will also have to be erected in the locality.
