UPDATED: Water supply cut-off for conservation works in Carlow 'rescheduled' for another night

The supply was already shut off Wednesday night and in the early hours of Thursday morning

Essential water conservation works in Carlow

Carlow County Council wish to advise consumers that due to essential water conservation works the water supply will now be shut down between the hours of 10pm on Monday, September 10 until 5am on Tuesday September, 11.

The water supply has already been shut down between the hours of 11pm on Wednesday, September 5 and 6am on Thursday, September 6. 

The following areas will be affected: Burrin Street, Kilkenny Road, Granby Row, Hanover Road, Green Road, Blackbog Road, Monacurragh, Mortarstown and adjoining areas.

Carlow County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The hosepipe ban was extended in Carlow until the end of September.
