A homecoming party will be held for Eamonn Tracey in Drumphea Hall this Sunday from 6.30pm.

The Carlow man is the new World Ploughing Champion after an outstanding performance in the Conventional Class at the World Ploughing Contest in Einsiedel, Germany last weekend.

He reclaimed the Golden Plough after being narrowly defeated last year.

Tea and finger food will be served at the event on Sunday.
