Status Yellow rainfall warning issued for Carlow with a risk of 'spot flooding'

Seven counties are included in the warning

Status Yellow for Carlow until 9pm tonight

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford.

Rain will be persistent and heavy at times especially during the afternoon with risk of spot flooding. Totals of 25 to 40mm expected, highest values likely near coast.

The warning is valid from Thursday, September 20 at 09am to 9pm Thursday night.
