Gardaí in Carlow are investigating an arson attack on a house on the Pollerton Road, Carlow at around 10pm on Sunday night, October 7.

The area has been preserved by Gardaí and a technical examination is being carried out.
Internal damage was caused to the house with damage also to a side door of the property.
Carlow Fire Services attended the scene and quenched the blaze.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area shortly before 10pm and who may have seen anybody suspicious or any supicious vehicles.
They are also appealing to motorists who may have been in the area and have a dashcam.
